The way our program works is ideal for the working parent. The first half of our day follow’s the schedule of a typical preschool. The children participate in large/small group activities, one on one teacher instruction, art projects, and all interest areas are open to explore. ​The second half of the day consists of child directed activities, such as music and movement and outside play. 

Here at Yahweh’s we care for the whole child, we treat each child as the unique individual they are. Our goal is to help each child succeed. We use a unique combination of curriculum in our preschool program. To focus on the academic portion of our day we use the Core Knowledge Preschool sequence, which concentrates on language development and emergent writing skills. This curriculum aligns with Washington States early learning guidelines, as well as the Common Core curriculum typically used in public school. We use a variety of other research based activities to build the preschoolers social/emotional development. This includes teacher directed activities, child directed play, and group activities. Our preschoolers are offered the opportunity to:

• Small muscle control

• Gross motor skills

• How to be a productive classroom citizen

Here at Yahweh’s our preschool offers the opportunity to learn and build skills throughout the entire day, whether it be through teacher instruction or play.
